Thanks for Nothin!

Another birthday has come and gone, and like every one since the age of 10, nobody was thoughtful enough to buy me a jet pack. If someone wants to get one for me next year, I promise to act surprised.

Hi Brian. Just discovered your blog today. Actually, I think I knew about it, just haven't been able to spend much time with it until today. It's great.

Also, not sure if you remember, but we met several years ago. I'm a friend of Romain and I interviewed with your wife not too long ago for a job at the DFP. Anyway, keep up the excellent work on The Way Things Are.

Hope you get that jet pack.

Nice to hear from you Matt. Let me know when you're in town and I'll let you ride my "Detroit Jet Pack". I won't bore you with all the specifics, but it involves a minivan and about ten M80s. Good times!
