Blowing Out the Cobwebs

It's not as bad as Alaska or Minnesota. It's not even as bad as other parts of Michigan, but this time of year, February in Detroit is downright nasty. The skies are constantly grey or white, and there's either three inches of sloppy snow on the ground or three inches of rainy muck. So my plan today was to push through the funk, blow out the cobwebs and try to get back in a groove of sorts. The goal was a modest one - just to get outside and walk around for an hour, with no direction or plan. And I don't know if I got any home runs, but I made contact, jogged around the bases and that's better than the last couple weeks.
